Did you know that Instagram keeps a backup copy of all your posts? In most cases, thanks to this automatic backup, we will be able to access all files, including those we have deleted.
In other words, to recover deleted Instagram conversations and chats you need to download this backup. To access this data, we must follow the steps below:
- Open your Instagram profile.
- Tap the icon of the three horizontal lines.
- Select Settings from the pop-up menu.
- Go to Security and look for the Data Download option.
- If it does not appear, type “Data download” in the search box at the top of the settings menu.
- Verify that the e-mail address is correct.
- Tap the blue button.
By doing this, we will have requested a backup of our account data.
